DEM Parti, sabah saatlerinde altı gazetecinin ‘mevcutlu’ olarak ifadeye çağrılmasına tepki gösterdi. 

Yapılan açıklamada, “Gazetecilerin, İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Ekrem İmamoğlu hakkındaki soruşturma kapsamında İstanbul Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı tarafından sabah saatlerinde ifadeye çağrılması, basına yönelik devam eden baskıların son halkasıdır. “denildi.

Açıklamada şu ifadelere yer verildi: 

DEM Parti olarak medyaya yönelik bu baskıların dün olduğu gibi bugün de karşısındayız. 

Son dönemlerde bilhassa İstanbul’daki yargı çevrelerinde görülen bu anlayıştan, basını dizayn etme çabasından artık vazgeçilmelidir. 

Bu ülkenin ihtiyacı daha fazla demokrasi, daha fazla özgürlük ve barıştır.
