Yüksek Seçim Kurulu (YSK) Başkanı Ahmet Yener, vazife süresinin dolması dolayısıyla Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi (MHP) Genel Başkanı Devlet Bahçeli’ye nezaket ziyaretinde bulundu. Ziyaret, Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi’nde Bahçeli’nin makamında gerçekleşti.

Edinilen bilgilere göre, Yener’in vazife süresi öncesinde gerçekleştirdiği ziyaret kapsamında seçim süreçleri ve kurumsal çalışmalarla ilgili değerlendirmelerde bulunuldu. Görüşme basına kapalı olarak yapılırken, ziyarete ilişkin ayrıntı paylaşılmadı.

Ziyaretin, Yener’in vazife süresinin sona ermesi öncesinde gerçekleştirdiği temaslar kapsamında olduğu belirtildi.
