Bursa'nın İnegöl ilçesinde site inşaatı için yapılan temel kazısında tarihi eser olduğu belirtilen mezar kalıntıları ile insan kemikleri bulundu.

Kırsal Yeniceköy Mahallesi’ndeki site inşaatı için sabah saatlerinde kazı çalışması başlatıldı. Müteahhit firmanın operatörü amel makinesiyle kazı yaptığı sırada, mezarlar ve testiler gördü. Kazı durdurulurken, jandarma ekiplerine haber verildi. İnşaat alanına gelen jandarma ekipleri, çevrede emniyet önlemi aldı.
 

Bursa Arkeoloji Müze Müdürlüğü ekipleri de bölgeye gönderildi. Yapılan incelemede, tarihi yapıt olduğu belirtilen mezar parçaları ile insan kemikleri bulundu. İnceleme yapılmak üzere eserlerden numune alınırken, inşaatın yapıldığı Yeniceköy Mahallesi’nin Ermeni yerleşim bölgesi olduğu bildirildi.
