Cumhuriyete karşı isyan ettiği için İstiklal Mahkemelerinde idama mahkum edilen Şeyh Said ve arkadaşlarının ölümünün 100. yıldönümü nedeniyle Diyarbakır’da çalıştay düzenlendi.

Şeyh Said Derneği öncülüğünde, “Kürdistan’da 100 yıl. Hakikat, Adalet ve Barış” konulu çalıştaya DEM Parti milletvekilleri ile Demokratik Bölgeler Partisi (DBP) Eş Genel Başkanı Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar, Büyükşehir Belediyesi Eş Başkanı Doğan Hatun, kentteki STK temsilcileri ile fazla sayıda şahıs katıldı.

Şeyh Said’in torunu ve aynı zamanda Şeyh Said Derneği Başkanı Kasım Fırat yaptığı konuşmada hükümetin “Terörsüz Türkiye” sloganıyla başlattığı sürece değinerek “Biz yıllardır dedemin mezarı nerede diye soruyoruz. Devlet buna bile yanıt vermiyor. Yürütülen bir süreç var. Bu süreçte Kürtler neler yapmalıyı tartışmalıyız. Kürtlerin birliğe, barışa ihtiyacı var” dedi.
