Kaza, saat 23.00 sıralarında Karasu- Akçakoca yolu Küçükkarasu mevkisinde meydana geldi. Kocaali istikametine giden Suriye uyruklu Ahmad Al Salih yönetimindeki 54 MA 4178 plakalı otomobil, yarıştığı ileri sürülen motosiklet grubundan Sıtkı Genç (38) yönetimindeki 10 AFM 241 plakalı ve B.G. yönetimindeki 35 BTN 712 plakalı 2 motosikletle çarpıştı.

MOTOSİKLET İKİYE BÖLÜNDÜ

Çarpışmanın etkisiyle savrulan otomobil, yol kenarına devrildi. B.G.’nin kullandığı motosiklette yangın çıkarken, Sıtkı Genç yönetimindeki motosiklet ise ikiye bölündü.

Kazada sürücüler ile otomobildeki bir çocuk yaralanırken, ihbar üzerine bölgeye sağlık, jandarma ve itfaiye ekipleri sevk edildi. Ekiplerce yapılan kontrolde Sıtkı Genç’in yaşamını yitirdiği belirlendi. 3 yaralı ise sıhhat ekipleri tarafından Karasu ve Kocaali Devlet hastanelerine kaldırdı. Yaralılardan Ahmad Al Salih de doktorların tüm müdahalesine rağmen kurtarılamadı.
